The HEX velcro backup plate is the main component of the HEX Foam Pad System. This 6" DA backing plate will fit any buffer with a 5/16 threaded shaft such as the Porter Cable 7424XP, Meguiars G110 or any other mainstream unit. This backing plate automatically centers the HEX Foam Buff Pads so no more pad jump or vibration as soon as you start buffing.
*The HEX Foam backup plate can also be used on any standard buff pad that will accept a 6" back-up plate.
